Brittany Nicole Tatum is a New Jersey based, singer, actor, and writer, who has always yearned to be a renaissance woman. After a fourteen year break from performing, she returned to the stage in 2025 and said: “Uh oh, this is the only thing I ever want to do.” Friends have kindly noted “bitch, you sound like Judy freaking Garland.”
While she pursues her acting career, Brittany uses her 10+ years of experience in marketing and communications to help organizations, brands, and individuals tell their stories. Her skillset doesn’t lie in one place, it reaches out in many mediums, including media/public relations, executive briefing, op-ed writing, graphic design, crisis communication, and creative strategy.
She currently serves as Senior Communications Manager for Moms First, a national non-profit organization fighting for America’s moms and policies like affordable childcare and paid leave. In her almost three years with the Moms First, she has landed national features in The Washington Post, The Cut, CBS Sunday Morning, PBS NewsHour, NPR, and The New York Times.
Before joining Moms First, she built advertising campaigns for some of the internet’s most recognizable media brands, including The Root and Quartz. Earlier in her career, she spent five years on communications teams at national and international nonprofits advancing gender equality and reproductive freedom.
You can see Brittany in Collingswood Community Theatre’s production of 9 to 5: The Musical in January 2027.
